Please note that August 22nd is the date of the hearing to vote on this matter. Should the rate increase pass, work has already begun on the preparation of petitions and a program to appeal this matter. Please continue to send letters to the LCRA in oppositon to this matter. - Where Do I Vote?
Early voting for the Bee Cave City Council elections begins Monday, April 30th and continues on weekdays through Tuesday, May 8th. Voting hours are 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. (except lunch, 12-1 p.m.) at the City Hall, 13333A Hwy 71 West, Phone # 767-6600. Extended voting hours, 6:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. will be available on Tuesday, May 8. Election Day is Saturday, May 12.
You can also early vote in the LTISD School Board Election at the Bee Cave City Hall. On election day , May 12th you will have to go to the Lake Pointe Elementary School to vote for the LTISD candidates. - Bee Cave City Council Passes Resolution Opposing IncreaseJuly 12, 2007 Bee Cave City Council passed a resolution opposing the LCRA rate increase.

- LCRA Proposed IncreaseCurrently, the LCRA is considering a two phased increase to the water and wastewater rates. The vote will take place in Austin on August 22nd at the LCRA board meeting. Letters concerning this can still be sent and you are welcome to attend the meeting. Please continue to watch this site and the LCRA update page for more information.

Additionally, various communities and their members have joined together in preparation for an appeal should it become necessary, Your support in this matter will be requested at the approriate time should a petition and appeal be required.
